Star Trek is in a tough spot. The 59-year-old sci-fi franchise launched a series of streaming shows over the past decade in an attempt to build Paramount Plus into a true Netflix competitor. Now, that effort is winding down as Trekkies prepare for the Original Series’ 60th birthday this September. But before then, the last show standing from Star Trek’s streaming era will take one more big swing this summer.
